Stephen Mackereth: Philosophy Pitt’s philosophy department is extremely intellectually diverse. As a young scholar it is exciting to be exposed to so many different styles of doing philosophy. Jiyeon Kim: Economics Technological progress can make the economy grow, but there’s always a dark side. For example, due to automation, the jobs that low-skill workers usually take have been in Soumitra Punekar: Chemistry From the Taj Mahal to NFL stadiums, we are highly skilled at constructing unique architectures that we can see.
